“SEO Essentials” Site Assessment
Before you invest money into optimizing your site, we think it’s imperative that you have the proper foundation that will allow you to get the best bang for your buck from of any future optimization efforts. We have deep expertise in technical SEO, in particular with WordPress, and we’ll leverage that expertise to conduct the following detailed analysis:
- Assess current state of website from an SEO and performance standpoint, as well as a general competitive landscape.
- Use a combination of Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Open Site Explorer, and other tools as needed to view your website as search engines do.
- Identify 6-8 of the most pressing issues that are keeping your site from reaching its full ranking potential, and provide a written report with prioritized action items to address each item.
- Includes a 1-hour call with our lead SEO Strategist to review the recommendations.
We’re confident that the list of recommendations we provide will produce a return on investment many times over our fee for this service.
Keyword Research
Understanding how your potential customers are searching for your products and services is the first step in understanding a) what content you need to have on your site and b) how to optimize your content to appear in search engines for relevant searches. We’ll create a comprehensive report in Excel format that lists the keyword targets that are most valuable to your business and for which you have the greatest chance of ranking. Our service is different in that we also leverage competitor intelligence tools to identify the top keywords driving traffic to your top 3-4 competitors as well. This will become a go-to reference document for months and years to come as you execute on your SEO strategy.
Site & Metadata Updates
We’ll update page-level settings, including titles, meta descriptions, page headings, and social metadata for up to 15 of the top pages on your site directly through your WordPress CMS. We’ll also install any recommended plugins and configure site-wide SEO settings for optimal performance. Note: This service must be combined with Keyword Research, at a minimum.
Local Business Citations
Citations, which are defined as consistently formatted references to your business’ name, address and phone number (NAP), are a key factor in local search rankings. Experts agree that citations account for around 25% of all local ranking factors.
The three most important business listings are through Google My Business, Bing Places for Business, and Yahoo Local Basic Listing. These services require postal mail verification of your address, so we’ll set these up properly and initiate the verification process. We’ll also get you listed on 80 top generic citation sources and 15 relevant local/niche citations.
Once we’ve completed the citations, we’ll send you a detailed report with a list of URLs to all of the listings we created, the status of each listing (approved, pending, already existed), usernames and passwords for the sites, and any comments
